Job Summary

Electronics Technician duties include, but are not limited to, installation work of commercial television systems, satellite TV and broadband systems and home automation systems. This position will be responsible for ensuring systems and components meet established specifications and meet all safety requirements. You will customize the needs of every customer by selling personalized smart home products and solutions while earning valuable incentives. Install cutting edge technology – relocate power, install whole home technology state of the art doorbells, thermostats and locks as well as satellite dishes, televisions, routers, cameras, receivers, and many more products/services.

  • Install and service authorized smart home technology in customer homes
  • Advise and educate customers on products that meet their needs
  • Review products and provide helpful guides through blog entries or video

This is a full-time position, with occasional over time. Hours of operation are 7 days a week 7:00am to 6:30pm. If your tasks are not completed or if there is an issue that arises, you will be required to work after your expected shift end to complete.

Job Summary

In-Home Service Technicians lead the charge in service, installation, and home automation solutions for our customers, both rural and urban. Each Technician receives extensive safety training as well as professional training for site surveys, installing equipment, and educating customers on our innovative satellite technology.

Responsibilities

  • Plans installations by evaluating location; locating line of sight; laying out equipment and wiring plans connectivity options.
  • Establishes satellite system by installing dish; running and pulling cable; programming and calibrating equipment; adhering to codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Verifies system by testing equipment and connections; identifying and correcting problems.
  • Insures system signal meets minimum requirements.
  • Observes picture on television screen to evaluate reception.
  • Communicates with dispatch department to update job status within assigned timeframes.

Job Summary

Dispatch handles monitoring of technician routing/schedules, updating jobs to completed or rescheduled, and assists customers and coworkers with schedule dates and information on existing, past or future jobs.
