  4. I get an error message on my TV screen that includes number “920.” What should I do?

This error occurred because your receiver wasn’t able to download the guide information from the satellite for more than 3 hours.

Try running a system test to find out why:

  1. Press MENU on your remote control
  2. Select Settings & Help
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Info & Test
  5. Select Run System Test. This may take a few minutes.

After the test, what do you see on the screen?

If it is an error message that includes the number 82:



Your receiver is configured for the incorrect satellite dish.
Try this:

  1. Press MENU on your remote control
  2. Select Settings & Help
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Satellite
  5. Select Repeat Satellite Setup
  6. Press the DASH button on your remote control.
  7. Select Dish Type and set the receiver to 03: Slimline-3
  8. Select Continue.
  9. Please wait a few minutes for your receiver to verify the new dish configuration.
  10. If you are still having issues please call 1-800-531-5000 for assistance.

 

If it is an error message that includes number 83:



Your receiver is configure for the incorrect satellite dish.
Try this:

  1. Press MENU on your remote control
  2. Select Settings & Help
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Satellite
  5. Select Repeat Satellite Setup
  6. Press the DASH button on your remote control.
  7. Select Dish Type and set the receiver to 04: Slimline-5
  8. Select Continue.
  9. Please wait a few minutes for your receiver to verify the new dish configuration.
  10.  If you are still having issues please call 1-800-531-5000 for assistance.

For any other errors on the screen that isn’t 82 or 83, please call 800-531-5000 for assistance.
