Warehouse Associate: Palmer

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate receives, stocks, pulls, distributes, ships, and tracks receivers, installation materials, tools for Microcom technicians, contractors, and the sales department.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily inventory request for Microcom technicians
  • Complete weekly inventory request from Microcom contractors
  • Complete weekly stock transfer request from Microcom warehouses
  • Receive weekly purchase orders from vendors
  • Maintain set inventory levels in InHouse technician cages
  • Ensure that installation materials are readily available to InHouse technicians
  • Completing inventory transactions in a computerized inventory management system
  • Process equipment returns to vendors in a timely manner
  • Complete and ship out daily sales orders
  • Input all shipments leaving from the warehouse into an internal tracking system
  • Submit weekly inventory counts
  • Conduct weekly inventory confirmations
  • Operate material handling equipment
  • Maintain warehouse tools, material handling equipment, and vehicle
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Use various Internet-based programs to complete daily warehouse functions
  • Use Microsoft Office programs to effectively communicate with all departments
  • Maintain a professional, committed, accountable appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Support all Microcom Departments to the best of your ability to ensure success

Accounts Receivable Specialist: Anchorage

Job Summary

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will provide support for Accounts Receivable and other various accounting functions.

Responsibilities

  • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
  • Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service departments, and customers.
  • Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department.
  • Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfers to accounts receivable accounts; verifying totals; preparing reports.
  • Prepares and maintains monthly billing invoices.
  • Assists with admin tasks around the office.

Maintains a high level of technical competence with respect to Microcom’s products which will allow for professional selling of the product. Job Summary

Electrical Engineer Intern will support electrical engineers in the design of power and control systems. You will work with multi-functional departments to ensure project success, both in house and in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience through the installation and testing of a variety of satellite communication systems and wireless distribution systems.
  • Learn how to proactively identify potential problems; propose recommendations for an effective solution.
  • Assist with weekly and on-demand reporting of all workflow activities.
  • Gain engineering and project management skills by supporting our teams to complete projects on-time and on-budget.
  • Conduct site visits for information gathering purposes, as necessary.
  • Attend training courses and seminars to earn certification in categories including satellite communications, general communications, and IP networks.

Call center sales agents will answer incoming calls from customers who want to place orders for satellite television or satellite broadband systems. The sales agent will respond to customer inquiries and will be responsible for assisting customers in completing purchases over the phone. Agents must be able to inform customers of the product terms and features and project a professional company image through voice and online interactions.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with office software and be able to multitask with ease.

A Sales Trainer is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering training and developing programs to ensure Customer Acquisition and Retention. Job Summary

The Sales Manager is a key position that works closely with marketing to achieve and exceed all sales goals. You will be managing a team here in Anchorage as well as other locations throughout the state and in Hawaii.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an effective sales plan for individual products working in tandem with marketing.
  • Identify and contact new leads through cold calling, trade show participation, and market research.
  • Responsible for developing the sales team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge.
  • Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.

  • Set individual territory sales and commission targets and administer the commission plan.
  • Personally observe the performance of sales representatives on a regular basis and provide feedback.
  • Provide ongoing training for the sales representatives so that they possess sufficient product knowledge to present information on the company’s products in an accurate manner.

Education and Experience

  • H.S. Diploma, Associates in Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years Accounts Payable experience.
  • Prefer multi-company/multi-state accounts payable experience. May consider a combination of education (e.g., college coursework in accounting) and experience.

Dispatcher: Alaska

Job Summary

Dispatch handles monitoring of technician routing/schedules, updating jobs to completed or rescheduled, and assists customers and coworkers with schedule dates and information on existing, past or future jobs.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones
    1. Customers regarding scheduling
    2. Sales staff for scheduling new customers, updates on previously scheduled customers

Responsible for the repair of satellite dishes on the roofs of homes and office buildings by the use of an extension ladder. The standard ladder used by WWTS has been rated by the American National Standards Institute (ASNI) to hold a weight of (including tool belt and equipment) of up to 300 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality customer service and support for designated equipment
  • Escalates problems to appropriate next level support when necessary
  • Monitors assigned service calls to ensure timely completion
  • Ensures all time reporting and other required reports are accurate and submitted on time
  • Meets or exceeds various service levels as established by assignment (calls per day, ETAs, on-time response, administrative call closure, client satisfaction)
