Receiver power failures are rare unless there was a power surge. Common losses of receiver power are faulty surge protectors, local power outages or an Off light switch.
- Check that wall switch is on –
Check that any wall switch or power strip powering your DISH receiver is on.
- Check that front panel powers receiver –
Press power button on front panel (some may be inside front panel door) to see if the receiver powers on.
If so – Go to Remote Control
- Reset receiver –
If the issue is only on ONE receiver, unplug the DISH receiver for 10 seconds and plug back in.
It may take up to 5 mintues for the reset process to be completed.
