Presbyterian Hospitality House works to correct the problems of Alaska’s troubled youth and families so that they may contribute to the social and financial well being of their community. They operate nine family-style residential treatment centers in the Fairbanks and Mat-Su areas and provide community-based treatment by involvement with public schools, community agencies, civil groups, neighbors, and state and city officials.
When we reached out, we found that one of the most requested donation items is blankets, so Microcom stepped up! We were able to get 55 blankets to our Fairbanks office who dropped them off to cover all the current beds they have. Hopefully, these blankets will be a welcome gift in the winter months when Fairbanks gets particularly cold.
