Job Summary

The Sales Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service and selling Microcom products to patrons. Performs sales calls, including lead follow-up. Negotiates and closes sales. Follows-up with the customer after the sale. Provides continuing after sales contact with existing customers. Acts as a liaison between the customer and the company. Performs related administrative and record-keeping tasks. Maintains professional selling skills through training programs. Maintains a high level of technical competence with respect to Microcom’s products which will allow for professional selling of the product. Set up temporary sales displays as necessary to promote service and reach out to potential clients.

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for selling products and services to new and existing customers
  • Responsible for meeting current sales metrics
  • Responsible for adhering to all sales processes and procedures as established by region
  • Responsible for executing promotions and meeting or exceeding established sales goals
  • Responsible for handling customer service issues
  • Responsible for maintaining showroom standards
  • Responsible for adherence to all Company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for cold calling and supporting sales cross-promotions
  • Must be able to work independently in a retail storefront
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Sales Manager

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years of relevant field experience may be substituted for every one (1) year of required academia.
